【摘要】:Theinformationprovidedbythistestmethodisusefulforcontrolpurposesandisrequiredbyvariousmaterialspecificationsandforthecalculationofopticalabsorptivity.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecarbonblackcontentinpolyethylene,polypropylene,andpolybutyleneplastics.Itsusewithacrylicorotherpolarmonomermodificationswhichmightaffecttheaccuracyisnotrecommended.Determinationsofcarbonblackcontentaremadegravimetricallyafterpyrolysisofthesampleundernitrogen.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletocompositionsthatcontainnonvolatilepigmentsorfillersotherthancarbonblack.1.1.1Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletomaterialscontainingbrominatedflameretardantadditivesattheend.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinbracketsaregivenforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThistestmethodissimilartoISO6964-1986(E)intitleonly.Thetechnicalcontentissignificantlydifferent.
