【摘要】:Thistestmethodconsistsoftwoindependentprocedures:anoxide-analysisprocedurethatconsistsoftwosub-proceduresandanextractionprocedure.Eachprocedurerequiresasubstantialdegreeofchemicalskillandrelativelyelaboratechemicalinstrumentation.Exceptfortheinfluenceofknowninterferences,determinedcementcontentsarenormallyequalto,orslightlygreaterthan,actualvaluesexceptfortheMaleicAcidprocedurewhereresultscanalsobesignificantlylowwhenthepasteiscarbonated(Note1).Note18212;Withcertainlimitations,theprocedureisalsoapplicableforestimatingthecombinedcontentofportlandcementandpozzolanorslaginconcretesmadewithblendedhydrauliccementandblendsofportlandcementwithpozzolansorslags.Theresultsofthistestmethodwhenappliedtoconcretesmadewithblendedcementsorpozzolansdependonthecompositionofthepozzolan,theageoftheconcrete,theextentofreactionofthepozzolanandthefactthatthistestmethodmaydetermineonlytheportland-cementcomponentofablendedcement.Thetestmethodshouldbeappliedtodeterminationoftheblendedcementcontentorthepozzolaniccontentonlybyuseofcalibrationconcretesamplesorotherinformation.EarlierversionsofthistestmethodcanprovideusefulinformationasdetailedbyHimeandMinnick.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofportland-cementcontentofasampleofhardenedhydraulic-cementconcrete.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.DisposalofsomeorallofthechemicalsusedinthismethodmayrequireadherencetoEPAorotherregulatoryguidelines.
