【摘要】:Thistestmethodoffersameansofevaluatingtheadhesivepropertiesofasphaltroofingcementsusedtorepairroofsunderadverseconditions.Weatheredroofsurfacesareeasilycoatedwithasphaltroofingcementswhentheyaredry,howeverwhenwetorduringarain,asphaltroofingcementsmaynotadherereadilytowater-wetsurfacessuchasmetalflashingsorasphaltrollroofing.Theflamedmetallidsusedinthistestmethodsimulateweatheredroofsurfaces.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheadhesionofasphaltroofingcementstodamp,wet,orunderwatersurfaces.1.2ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thismethodisdesignedasascreeningtestinevaluatingantifoulingcoatingsystems.Resultsofthestandardsysteminaspecificmarineenvironmentareincludedtoassistininterpretingresults(seeAnnexA2).Antifoulingsystemsprovidingpositivecomparisonswiththestandardsystemshouldbeconsideredacceptableforuseinprotectingunderwatermarinestructures.Thedegreeandtypeoffoulingwillvarydependingontheenvironment.Hence,differencesingeographiclocationoftestsites,intimeofyearwhenpanelsareexposed,andinweatherconditionsfrom1yeartothenextcanaffectresults.Therefore,afoulingcensusonanontoxicsurfaceistaken.Fortheexposuretobevalidthenontoxicsurfaceshouldshowheavyfouling,andthestandardsystemshouldshowsignificantlylessfoulingthanthenontoxicsurface(seeAnnexA3andAnnexA4).1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefortestingantifoulingcompositionsinshallowmarineenvironmentsandastandardantifoulingpanelofknownperformancetoserveasacontrolinantifoulingstudies.SubcommitteeD01.45hasarevisedratingprocedurenowbeingevaluatedbyroundrobin.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicationofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
