【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminethepurityofp-phenylenediamineantidegradants.SincetheresultsofthistestmethodarebasedonanintegratedpeakareaasdeterminedbyHPLC,itisassumedthatallanalytesofinterestareresolvedfrominterferingpeaks.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthepurityofTypeI,IIandIII-phenylenediamine(PPD)antidegradantsasdescribedinPracticeD4676byhighperformanceliquidchromatographyusingultravioletdetectionandexternalstandardcalculations.1.2Expertiseinhighperformanceliquidchromatography(HPLC)isnecessarytothesuccessfulapplicationofthistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
